Bishop Emeritus John Baptist Kakubi Memorial mass
On Wednesday, 11/02/26, marks 10 years since Bishop Emeritus John Baptist Kakubi was laid to rest.
We celebrated Holy Mass at school in his loving memory, led by our resident priests together with guest clergy from the Archdiocese of Mbarara, including the Vicar General, Rev. Fr. Dr. Severinus M. Ndugwa, and Rev. Fr. Deusdedit Twesigyeomwe Ekikondanjojo.
We were honored by the presence of fellow priests, our Old Boys, and members of the wider community.
During the celebration, one of our Old Boys, John Baptist Mujuni of Mbarara University of Science and Technology, shared meaningful insights about the late Bishop’s wish to be laid to rest at the school, a testament to his deep love and connection to this institution.
May his soul continue to rest in eternal peace.
