On 19th March 2026, the entire community of St. Joseph’s Vocational School, Mbarara, will come together to celebrate the Feast Day of our Patron Saint St. Joseph.

As a Catholic-founded institution, this day holds deep spiritual and historical significance for our school. St. Joseph, the foster father of Jesus Christ, is a model of humility, obedience, hard work, and integrity  virtues that define the character we strive to instill in all our students.

St. Joseph is known as:

  • The Patron of Workers

  • The Protector of Families

  • A symbol of quiet strength and faithfulness

His life reflects dignity in labour  a value that strongly aligns with our vocational focus in Agriculture, Carpentry, Woodwork, and Building Construction, alongside Arts and Sciences.

📅 Programme Highlights

The celebration will include:

  • Holy Mass led by invited clergy

  • Recognition of outstanding students and staff

  • Sports and inter-class competitions

This annual celebration strengthens our identity, renews our commitment to discipline and excellence, and reminds us of the values that guide our mission.
